For your information I may say that the League of Red Cross Societies is a new organisation, and already includes among its members the national Red Cross Societies in 30 nations. Under separate wrapper I am sending you pamphlets which will give you an idea of the purposes of this organisa- tion. May I also add that, although I am the Professor of Sanitary Engineering in Harvard University, Cambridge, Massa- chusetts, I have arranged to be in Geneva throughout the summer in order to organise this work. It is because of this Univer- aity connection that I am writing to you asking for your advice and you may be assured that I shall very much appreciate any information that you may be able to give me.
